Make a direction arrow on road cross sections

Make an expression that controls the Arrow Direction on road cross sections.
You can use this method in Autodesk Civil 3D 2010 and Autodesk Civil 3D 2011

1. Add a new Expression from Settings > Section > Label Styles > Segment > Expressions,
2. Give this new Expression the meaning name e.g. “ArrowDirection”,
3. Type Expression: IF({Section Segment Elevation Change}<0,0,pi),
4. Set the Format result as double and click OK,

5. Next modify the Percent Grade label and use this new Expression to control the Rotation Angle of the block e.g. AeccArrow,

6. If you have any difficulties with setting the Expression in the Rotation Angle, check if you inserted this expression for the proper label,

7. Move the bottom scroll bar to the right side,

8. Open the combo box/list and select the expression.
